About Swordbringer
Swordbringer: A Lost Sword Fan Hub. Your Lost Sword fan hub. Tier lists, characters, pets, and pull advice.
What Swordbringer is
Swordbringer is a fan-made hub for the game Lost Sword. We publish character, card, and pet ratings plus original character reviews, all of it editorial and our own.
We maintain our own game-data files: roster, kits, equipment, gems, and pets, sourced from the game itself. Character, card, and pet ratings and character reviews are original to Swordbringer.
How we rank
Roster, kit, equipment, gem, and pet facts come from our own game-data files, sourced from the game itself. Every published tier is an editorial judgment of our own: ratings were rebuilt from kit numbers and our original reviews in September 2026.
Character reviews live alongside the data as signed editorial pieces with a verdict, strengths, weaknesses, copy and transcendence notes, and a full body. Ratings and reviews move together: when kit numbers or our own reviews change our mind, the grades change too.
One scale, applied per content type:
- Characters are graded per mode × role: modes PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP; roles DPS, Support, Healer, and Tank. DPS deals damage, Support buffs and debuffs, Healer restores, and Tank holds the front line.
- Cards carry a single grade plus a category: no Tank column, no per-mode split.
- Pets carry a single grade each: no role columns.
- Equipment is not ranked. It is a catalog that notes which S / S+ builds actually use each piece.
Tier labels mean:
- S+: Best in Slot. Overpowered characters that define the meta.
- S: Meta. Excellent performers in nearly every situation.
- A: Strong. Solid choices that perform well with proper investment.
- B: Alternative. Viable options that shine in specific scenarios.
- C: Situational. Niche use cases, generally outclassed by higher tiers.
- D: Weak. Not recommended for competitive play.
Freshness
Dates are shown everywhere so you can judge currency yourself: a site-wide relative stamp ("Updated X ago") plus per-review published and updated dates and a per-guide updated date.
Updates ship as manual runs of our data pipeline. There is no automatic schedule. For what changed and when, see the changelog on the home page, including the September 2026 rebuild from kit numbers and our original reviews.
What we don't claim
To stay honest about scope, here is what this site does not offer:
- No tester biographies or ranks: content is signed by the Swordbringer editorial team, not named individuals.
- No spend-level framing: grades are not split by free-to-play versus spender accounts.
- No lab-style test protocol: we publish no sample sizes or battle counts.
- No update SLA: refreshes are manual runs; the dates on each page are the commitment.
- No numeric cutoffs or formulas: tiers are ordinal editorial labels, not scores.
- No equipment tiers and no damage simulators or gacha-odds modeling: those are out of scope.
Byline
Everything editorial on this site, tier placements, reviews, and guides, carries the team byline Swordbringer. That single byline is deliberate: it marks the content as the voice of the site's editorial team rather than any one author's personal account history.
Swordbringer is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with Wemade Connect. Game assets belong to their respective owners. The site is published in English only.
