Overview
Strengths
- Lancelot Active hits all enemies for 703% Attack and stacks Defense -1% per stack up to 10 for 4s.
- Whirlwind deals 385% Attack to all enemies and lifesteals 10% of damage dealt on a 16s cooldown.
- Valor is a clean self package: +46% Attack and +30% Attack Speed at Transcend 5.
Weaknesses
- D in PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP. The numbers are starter-kit, not competitive.
- No gear, card, or synergy package is listed for her; she is not a build target.
- Defense shred caps at 10% and expires in 4s, so the shred never defines a team plan.

Investment
Extra copies
Do not spend premium extras on her. If copies drop naturally, Transcend skill levels are the only place they do anything useful.
Transcend stop
Only raise Transcend if she is temporarily covering a hole in early content. There is no meaningful stop point worth farming toward.

Review
Baylin is a four-star Nature knight in the front line. The kit is short, readable, and capped: she swings, shreds a little defense, and drinks a fraction of her own damage. On the current tier list that lands at D in every mode (PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP), which is the honest summary of what a low-rarity frontliner with no support package looks like.
Lancelot Active, her ultimate, hits all enemies for 703% Attack on a 40s cooldown and applies a stacking Defense -1% debuff, max 10 stacks, lasting 4 seconds. Ten percent defense down for four seconds is a real effect on paper and a small one in practice; it is gone before most rotations loop, and the long cooldown means you see it once or twice per short fight. Compare that to five-star shred tools that hold longer windows or hit harder ratios. This ult is a poke, not a raid plan.
Whirlwind is the active: 385% Attack to all enemies, with lifesteal recovering 10% of damage inflicted, on a 16s cooldown. That is her sustain: not a shield, not a heal bot, just a portion of her own AoE returned as HP. In early story waves the lifesteal keeps her upright between healer ticks. In raids and Brawl the same button is too small to change outcomes once enemy damage outpaces a 10% return.
Valor is the only passive in the brief. At Transcend 5 it is +46% Attack and +30% Attack Speed. Those are fine self buffs for a four-star sheet and nowhere near the +88% Attack packages on five-star knights. There is no second passive, no team buff, and no status engine. Skill priority is empty in the brief because there is almost nothing to order: Ult shred, Active sustain, Passive self stats, done.
The brief lists no recommended gear, no synergy partners, and no character cards. That absence is the build advice: she is not someone you theorycraft around. If she is on your team it is because the roster is thin, not because a crit-damage sword and a block armor set suddenly make her A-tier. Any Attack and survivability scraps you already own are enough while she fills the hole.
Use her to clear early story while better frontliners arrive. Do not hold limited pulls or Transcend materials for her once a five-star knight is available. The kit has already shown its ceiling, and the D placements across every mode are the review.
