Overview
Strengths
- Crusade is a permanent team HP +36% at Transcend 5: real bulk for the whole party.
- Second passive adds team Damage Reduction +10% with no uptime condition.
- Dian Cecht heals all allies for 640% Attack and grants Healing Received +12% for 12s.
Weaknesses
- D Healer in PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP against modern restore and shield options.
- Holy Light only hits three allies for 114% Attack: slow triage on a 12s cooldown.
- No named gear path; she is a kit-and-card project on a floor-tier healer.

Investment
Extra copies
Put extras into Transcend before the Incarnation card. Higher skill ranks on the passives and heals are the only way her sheet gains weight.
Transcend stop
Take her to T5 if you are using her at all. Passive and heal ranks are the point of the climb; stop once T5 is done.

Review
Esmeralda is a 4★ Radiance Healer in the back line. The passives are clean team bulk, the Ultimate is a full-party heal with a healing-received buff, and the tier list still marks D Healer in PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP. She is what an early-account healer looks like after the roster moves on: functional numbers, no competitive niche.
Crusade (Passive 1) applies a team buff of HP +36%. Passive 2 adds team Damage Reduction +10%. Skill priority Passive 1 > Passive 2 > Active > Ultimate is correct. Her best contribution is the always-on durability aura, not the heal buttons. Those two passives would look fine on a meta support; on Esmeralda they are attached to heal multipliers that no longer clear hard content at an acceptable pace.
Dian Cecht, the Ultimate, recovers 640% Attack HP to all allies, applies Healing Received +12% for 12 seconds, and cools down in 38s. (The brief also tags a Fear line aimed at allies in the raw kit string. Treat the practical read as a party heal plus healing-received buff.) Holy Light is the Active triage: 114% Attack restore to three allies, 12s cooldown. That is maintenance healing, not an emergency full-bar save, and three-target targeting can miss the fourth or fifth unit in a full raid shell.
Cards on file: Carpe Diem (Circe), Rose Flame (Cristina), Incarnation (Esmeralda). Gear and synergy lists are empty, which matches a unit the build editors are not prioritizing. If you still field her, stack Attack for heal scaling and HP/survivability so the backliner casting Crusade actually stays up; do not expect a Domination-versus-staff debate to save the D rating.
Investment is Transcend-first with a T5 stop. The brief’s own note is that skill levels make the passives and heals more impactful. Rewrite that for the site as: raise Transcend so Crusade, the damage-reduction passive, Holy Light, and Dian Cecht all rank up before you chase Incarnation. That is the correct order if she is still your only Radiance healer. It is not an argument to pull for her once better healers or shield Supports (Erin-style) are available.
Use Esmeralda while she is the best restore button you own. Replace her when a healer or Support with an S-range placement shows up, and do not keep feeding a D-tier slot past T5.
