Overview

Strengths

  • Resolution and Valor stack the same buff twice: +14% crit chance and +22% attack speed each at Transcend 5.
  • Vortigern Ultimate Attack hits every enemy for 504% Attack and leaves an 8s burn ticking for 100% Attack per second.
  • Front-line Fire knight with a simple rotation that needs almost no setup to function.

Weaknesses

  • No team buffs, no damage reduction, and no HP passive. He only buffs himself.
  • 36s ultimate cooldown means most of the fight is basics plus a short self-haste window.
  • D DPS across PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP; the kit never scales into a real carry role.

Extra copies

Extra copies are low priority. Bank them only after your main roster is fed. A fourth-star self-buffer does not repay deep investment.

Transcend stop

Stop wherever you land; T5 finishes the self-crit and attack-speed numbers, but there is no breakpoint that changes his tier placement.

Gaheris is a 4★ Fire Knight who stands in the front and spends the entire kit on himself. There is no party Attack, no shield, and no Defense aura: only personal crit chance, personal attack speed, and a burn on the ultimate. That is enough to clear early content and not enough to climb any ladder. The tier list parks him at D DPS in PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP for the same reason: the multipliers never leave his own sheet.

Resolution is the active. At Transcend 5 it buffs self for Critical Hit Chance +14% and Attack Speed +22% for 10 seconds on a 15s cooldown. Uptime is decent; the buff is not. Valor, the passive, applies the same pair permanently: another +14% crit chance and +22% attack speed. Stacked, he is a fast, somewhat critty knight who still has no HP pad and no team utility. He swings more often; he does not make anyone else stronger.

Vortigern Ultimate Attack is the only real damage button. At T5 it deals 504% of Attack to all enemies, applies Burned for 8 seconds at 100% of Caster's Attack every 1 second, and sits on a 36s cooldown. The burn is honest DoT math, but a half-minute gap between casts means most of a wave is auto-attacks. There is no secondary nuke, no interrupt, and no frontline peel beyond standing there.

Stacked haste math is the only interesting part of the sheet. Permanent Valor plus a Resolution window puts him near +28% crit chance and +44% attack speed for ten of every fifteen seconds. That sounds loud until you notice nothing multiplies the hits: no Additional Damage passive, no team amp, no execute. The burn on Vortigern is 800% Attack of DoT over its full 8s if it is never cleansed, which is the best damage stretch in the kit and still tied to a 36s button.

Gear recommendations on this site are empty for him because the build path does not matter much. If you still field him, stack Attack and crit damage the way you would on any Fire DPS knight and accept that he will not tank. Synergy lists are also blank. Nothing in the kit asks for a specific partner, and he brings nothing a partner would build around.

Use him as a freebie filler while you pull real frontliners. Do not plan a Transcend route around him, and do not confuse self-haste with a support identity. When a better Fire or Radiance knight shows up, Gaheris goes to the bench without changing how your teams clear.
