Overview

Strengths

  • Climax summons Black Swan for 12s at full summoner HP/level, resets Active to 1s, and detonates Encore-tier damage when the swan dies or despawns.
  • The Swan Knight is Attack +88%, Attack Speed +25%, Critical Hit Chance +15%, plus a 120% Attack extra hit. Black Swan's extra hit is doubled.
  • Encore hits all frontline enemies for 1040% Attack and blocks fatal damage once on a 90s cooldown.

Weaknesses

  • Damage is backloaded to the swan window and the Encore finish. The first seconds before Climax are quieter than a burst Wizard.
  • Back-row Knight with no frontline taunt; she still needs a real tank (Dian Cecht lane) or the swan dies to cleave she cannot intercept.
  • Aggressive Duet is a plain 696% frontline hit on 12s. Without the swan and Swan Knight extras it is not a carry button.

Investment

Extra copies

Lock the character card before Transcend. Eternal Bond feeds the basic-attack and swan package harder than an early skill tick.

Transcend stop

After the card, climb to Transcend 5 and stop. That finishes Swan Knight numbers and the Encore cash-out.

Lohengrin is a Chaos Knight who fights from the back row, the rare rear Knight, and her damage is a summon window, not a single nuke. Raids, Brawl, and PVP all rate her S as DPS. General PVE is A. She needs Climax uptime and a tank in front; give her both and the swan does the rest.

Climax at Transcend 5 summons Black Swan for 12s at the same level as Lohengrin with 100% of her HP, changes her skill set for the duration, and sets Active cooldown to 1s. When the swan is unsummoned or defeated it fires a finishing hit equal to Encore. Ultimate cooldown is 30s, so the summon is a recurring phase, not a once-per-fight gimmick.

The Swan Knight is why the phase hurts. She gains Attack +88%, Attack Speed +25%, and Critical Hit Chance +15%, and each attack adds a 120% Attack extra hit. Black Swan's version of that extra hit is doubled. Skill priority is Passive 1 = Passive 2 > Active = Ultimate. Encore itself is 1040% Attack to all frontline enemies plus an immortality that prevents death from fatal damage, on a 90s cooldown. That is both the swan's death nuke and her personal panic button. Aggressive Duet is the filler frontline hit at 696% Attack every 12s.

Weapon recommendation is the named Dual Blades set, with Warrior Armor (Block%, Crit Res%), Glory of the Empire (HP%), and Rune of Focus (Crit DMG%). Swan HP mirrors hers at summon, so the HP% accessory is also Black Swan bulk, not just personal padding. Synergy callout is Dian Cecht. Cards are Eternal Bond (Lohengrin) and Elgrad Sword Art Journal (Lua): card-first investment, then Transcend through T5.

She disappoints when you expect instant burst before the swan lands, or when you park her without a front tank and watch Black Swan eat the first cleave alone. During Climax, Aggressive Duet should be near-permanent because of the 1s Active reset; spend that window on frontline pressure and let the swan add the doubled extra hits. Build Dual Blades, protect the backline, and play around the 12s summon. That is the S-tier pattern across raids and competitive modes; skip her only if your roster cannot cover the front while she conducts.
