Overview

Strengths

  • Charge buffs all allies' Attack by +60 for 10 seconds on a 16s cooldown, so he has a real if tiny party role.
  • Volley Fire hits all enemies for 258% Attack and applies Critical Hit Rate −8% for 10 seconds.
  • Indomitable adds a flat +1500 HP, which helps a frontliner survive early story stages.

Weaknesses

  • D Tank and D Support in PVE, Raids, Brawl, and PVP. No mode keeps him once five-star frontliners exist.
  • Attack +60 is a flat number, not Attack %, so it falls off hard as sheets grow.
  • No Damage Reduction, shields, or taunt. He is a soft frontliner, not a real tank kit.

Extra copies

Do not pull for extras. One copy from the four-star pool is enough for early content; fodder the rest.

Transcend stop

Skip Transcend investment. A D-tier flat-buff knight does not repay duplicate spending past whatever he arrives at.

Urien is a 4★ Radiance knight in the front row. The kit tries to be both a small party buffer and a light debuffer, but the numbers are early-game sized and never grow into a reason to keep him on the endgame board. Flat Attack and flat HP look helpful on day one and disappear as soon as percentage scaling arrives.

Charge is his best argument. It applies Attack +60 to all allies for 10 seconds on a 16s cooldown. Near-permanent uptime if you rotate correctly. The problem is the buff is a flat +60, not Attack %. In the first hours of the account that is noticeable. Later it is a rounding error next to percentage Attack buffers and five-star amp kits.

Volley Fire at Transcend 5 deals 258% of Attack to all enemies and applies Critical Hit Rate −8% for 10 seconds, on a 36s cooldown. The shred is real but small, and the damage multiplier is four-star soft. It does not make him a DPS knight or a control tank.

Indomitable is HP +1500 to himself, another flat number. Useful while base HP pools are tiny; irrelevant once gear and five-star passives take over. There is no Damage Reduction, no shield, no taunt, and no percentage HP passive. Calling him a tank is mostly about standing in the front row, not about a mitigation kit.

Put the two actives together and the pattern is clear: a near-permanent +60 Attack aura and a slow −8% crit rate AoE. Neither scales with investment the way percentage buffs do, so Transcend only raises the soft 258% ultimate. It does not fix the flat math. Radiance frontliners who bring real mitigation or Attack % will replace him the moment they drop.

Tier list rates him D Support / D Tank in every mode. No gear path, synergy list, or card package is worth routing toward him. Use Charge while your Attack buffers are empty, then replace him with any frontliner who brings percentage mitigation or real party amp. Save Transcend and limited resources for units that leave D. Urien’s job is to hold the front until that replacement arrives.
