Kay’s Passive 1 applies a Team Shield when she uses her Active and Ultimate Skills. Similar to Lueira, Kay’s Team Shield absorbs all damage taken by herself and her allies. It also increases her party’s Ignore Damage Reduction Stat and inflicts Burn via her Basic Attacks. Kay’s Passive 2 increases her Party’s Melee ATK and ATK AMP while increasing her own Critical Hit Rate and the targets hit during basic attacks.

Kay’s Active deals AOE damage and increases her Ultimate and Passive Skill Damage (read: her Burn). Her ultimate deals massive AOE damage, dealing additional damage against Burned enemies.

Kay’s advent not only marks the return of Knights to the meta (kicked off by Lumi), but also offers Karishara (the current dominant raid meta DPS) a permanent source of burn to play with. Her personal damage is also very competitive, being able to consistently deal damage to multiple opponents, having insane burst damage from her ultimate, and her Burn damage. Her defensive utility is also not to be ignored - Kay is able to consistently apply a powerful team shield each time she uses her Active and Ultimate, giving a ridiculous amount of sustain to teams across all forms of content.

Flame. Kay’s Card, Eternal Flames, is the Knight DPS equivalent to Morgan Le Fay’s card - it provides a massive amount of Melee ATK, Critical Chance and Critical Damage in exchange for a small amount of Critical Resistance reduction. It is certainly a potent card for maximising damage on a carry, but one that awaits a very strong Knight DPS to maximise its effect. It also faces stiff competition from the Red Dragon’s Blessing (60F) and Moonlight Swordplay (Ran) cards.
