Overview

Strengths

  • Inferno Awakening transforms for 10s and ends in Burn to Ashes at 1920% Attack to all enemies, the largest single button in the kit.
  • Immortality at brink of death grants unremovable damage immunity for 8s and blocks fatal damage on a 50s cooldown.
  • Determination stacks Critical Hit Chance +24% and Critical Damage +48% twice, and basic attacks during Ultimate shave 3s off its cooldown.

Weaknesses

  • PVE DPS is only B; without the transform window she is a durable frontliner, not a continuous carry.
  • Immortality is once per 50s. A second execute after the immunity ends still kills her.
  • Needs Dian Cecht-style sustain partners to keep trading while Determination and the transform cycle.

Extra copies

Put extras into Transcend before the card. Immortality timing, Determination stacks, and the Burn to Ashes multiplier all climb with skill level.

Transcend stop

Stop at Transcend 5, then Awaken if the copies are already there. T5 finishes the combat kit; Awakened is the optional ceiling called out for her.

Kay is a Fire Knight in the front row who plays transform-burst plus a panic immortality. Brawl rates her S on both Tank and DPS. Raids hold A on both roles, PVP A on both, and general PVE splits A Tank / B DPS. She is at her best when fights are short enough for one transform to decide them.

Inferno Awakening is the identity. At Transcend 5 she transforms for 10s, then at the end of the form casts Burn to Ashes for 1920% Attack to all enemies on a 30s ultimate cycle. That single hit is why Brawl loves her. During the window, Determination matters more: up to 2 stacks of Critical Hit Chance +24% and Critical Damage +48% for 10s, and while the Ultimate is active each basic attack cuts Determination's cooldown by 3s. The Active's base cooldown is 15s, so the transform turns her into a crit stacker mid-burst.

Charge is the always-on floor: Melee Attack +88% and Ignore Damage Reduction +15%. Immortality is the survival spike: at brink of death she gains unremovable damage immunity for 8s and a separate immortality that prevents death from fatal damage, both on a 50s cooldown. Skill priority is Passive 2 > Passive 1 > Active = Ultimate because living through the first execute is what lets the 1920% land.

Gear on this site is Fragarach (Attack%, Crit DMG%), Merlins Robe (Block%, Crit Res%), Glory of the Empire (HP%), and Rune of Focus (HP%, Crit DMG%). HP% on accessory and rune is not optional padding. Immortality only helps if she reaches brink of death with enough bulk to finish the transform afterward. Synergy callout is Dian Cecht. Cards include Moonlight Swordplay (Ran), Lingering Allure (Anessa), and Manager's Dignity (Enya).

Investment is Transcend-first through T5, with Awakened as the listed ceiling if copies remain. Play the transform on your terms: enter Inferno Awakening when Determination can stack inside the 10s window, and treat Immortality as a once-per-cycle save rather than a permanent tank aura. Do not treat her as a PVE DPS lock. Outside the transform she is a durable melee Knight, not a continuous bar-burner. Draft her when you need a frontliner who can both soak an execute and delete the wave when the form ends.
