Review
Anessa is a Frost knight in the front row whose kit is built around one condition: Frozen. When that status is up she is a multi-target melee carry. When it is not, she is a generic Attack stacker with a wide basic attack and nothing special about the multiplier.
Frozen Soul is the skill you level first. At Transcend 5 she deals 150% additional damage to Frozen enemies, gains +25% Attack Speed for 10 seconds while attacking them, and marks those targets so they take +15% Additional Damage from her Frozen Soul effect. That is why the skill priority puts Passive 2 above everything else. The rest of the kit feeds into this window.
Apostle of Lust at T5 is +88% Attack, +2 basic-attack targets, and +10% Additional Damage. The added targets matter as much as the Attack: her basics become a three-wide cleave, which is how she clears waves and contests Brawl boards without waiting for cooldowns. Snowshadow Slash is a frontline AoE at 504% Attack on a 10s cooldown: reliable filler between ults. Snowshadow Skybreaker Dance is the big button: 1014% Attack to all enemies, then +75% Attack Speed on herself for 10 seconds on a 34s cooldown. Ult into Frozen Soul uptime is the rotation.
Tier placement tracks Freeze reliability. She sits at S in Brawl, where short fights and status pressure keep Frozen online; A in Raids when a partner can hold the status; and B in PVE / PVP when the condition is sparse. Dian Cecht, Merlin, and Katrin are the usual names next to her for that reason: Freeze and sustain around a frontliner who only spikes when the status is live.
Gear on this site for her is Fragarach (crit damage / Attack %), Warrior Armor (block / crit resist), Glory of the Empire (HP %), and Rune of Focus (crit damage). Cards that show up beside her kit are Lingering Allure, Moonlight Swordplay, and Elgrad Sword Art Journal.
