Overview

Strengths

  • Back-Alley Methods is a permanent 70% team Attack buff at T5, so her value is not limited to her own hits.
  • Squishy's the best!! at 30 Charge deals 1244% Attack twice, stuns for 4s, and grants +100% Attack Speed for 12s.
  • Go, Squishy! layers Shocked (15% ATK on hit) and 10% additional damage received for 8s on a 13s cooldown.

Weaknesses

  • The ultimate's stun and second hit require 30 Charge; bank poorly and you spend a 30s cooldown on half a nuke.
  • Brawl and PVP both sit at C. Short windows punish the Charge ramp.
  • Front-line Knight with no personal shield in the kit; she needs the team's sustain to stay alive while stacking.

Investment

Extra copies

Push Transcend before the character card. Passive 1 skill levels and the T5 Attack aura do more for raid teams than another Big Boss copy sitting unused.

Transcend stop

Stop at T5. That is where Back-Alley Methods hits 70% team Attack and Squishy Recharge finishes its Zap! and Charge math.

Lumi is a Shock Knight in the front line whose kit is built around Charge. Basics and active hits stock the buff; the ultimate spends it. At Transcend 5 she is also a party Attack battery, which is why Raids list her Support at S+ ahead of her personal DPS at S.

Squishy Recharge is the skill you level first. Basic attacks and Go, Squishy! grant Charge to herself and Zap! stacks to the target. Charge raises the next ultimate's final damage (cap 30). At three Zap! stacks the mark pays out an extra hit equal to 222% Attack and shaves 1s off the active cooldown. Each Charge cycle also banks a one-shot +10% ultimate skill-damage buff. Miss the stack discipline and the nuke arrives thin.

Squishy's the best!! is the payoff. At T5 it hits all enemies for 1244% Attack. With 30 or more Charge, it also stuns for 4s, adds a second 1244% hit, and gives her +100% Attack Speed for 12s on a 30s cooldown. That is why Passive 1 outranks everything else on the skill priority list: the ultimate's ceiling is a Charge problem, not a button problem.

Go, Squishy! clears forward enemies for 576% Attack, applies Shocked (15% of her Attack as bonus damage when the target is hit) for 8s, and adds 10% additional damage received for the same window, on a 13s cooldown. It is both her Charge engine and her amp tool.

Back-Alley Methods at T5 is +70% Attack for allies, plus +15% crit rate and +10% Attack Speed for herself. That aura is the raid Support grade. Story and Stonehenge still use her as an A DPS/Support hybrid; Brawl and PVP drop to C because the Charge ramp does not fit short rounds.

Named gear on this site is Fragarach (Attack %, Crit DMG %), Warrior Armor (Block %, Crit Res %), Glory of the Empire (HP %), and Rune of Focus (Crit DMG %). Ran and Dian Cecht are the listed partners: more Shock pressure and a backline that keeps the front standing while Charge climbs.

Build her to bank 30 before the ultimate, not to spam it early. In raids she is the Attack stick the party leans on; in long PVE she is a fine clearer who happens to buff everyone while she stacks.
