Overview

Strengths

  • Ancient Impact and Abyss Storm both fully dispel beneficial effects on all enemies: strip on ultimate and on an 8s active.
  • Magecraft holds +100% Attack while above 10% HP, adds +52% Crit DMG for 10s when hitting Feared targets, and banks status bonus damage.
  • Awakening adds +20% Crit Rate and +10% Additional Damage, so the strip buttons crit on a real sheet.

Weaknesses

  • Fear-conditioned Crit DMG and status bonus damage need Circe or another Fear source; solo she is a strip bot with average coefficients.
  • Brawl at C: full dispel matters less when buffs barely stick in short rounds.
  • Card-first investment means Transcend is secondary until the card slot is filled.

Investment

Extra copies

Prioritize the character card over Transcend copies. Strip identity is already complete at base skill structure; card effects stretch PVP value further.

Transcend stop

Climb to Transcend 5 when you commit. Full ranks finish Magecraft and Awakening scaling after the card is secured.

Morgana is a Chaos Wizard in the back line built around full beneficial dispel and a Fear-fed personal damage passive. Tier spread tells the story: S DPS in PVP, B in PVE and Raids, C in Brawl. Arena cares about deleting shields and attack buffs; story content cares less.

Ancient Impact hits all enemies for 1176% Attack and removes all beneficial effects on them, 32s cooldown. Abyss Storm repeats the full dispel on an 8s cooldown at 402% Attack, and adds 10% skill damage when two or more targets are present. Strip cadence is the point. The active keeps enemy buff uptime near zero while the ultimate is a wipe-plus-strip spike.

Magecraft (Passive 1) is the damage brain. While current HP is 10% or higher, she holds an unremovable +100% Attack. Attacking a Fear target grants +52% Critical Damage for 10 seconds. A further status-effect bonus increases damage by 150% against qualifying targets (Fear-linked in the kit text). Without Fear, you keep the Attack buff and lose the crit-damage window and status rider. Awakening (Passive 2) is +20% Critical Hit Rate and +10% Additional Damage. Skill priority levels both passives before Active = Ultimate.

Named gear: Domination (Attack% + Crit DMG%), Merlin's Robe, Glory of the Empire (HP%), Rune of Focus (Crit DMG% + HP%). Synergy partners are Circe and Galahad: Fear application and a Holy frontline that benefits from clean enemy buff boards.

The PVP jump to S is the strip cadence plus Magecraft, not the raw 1176% ultimate alone. An 8s full dispel means enemy Glory shields, attack buffs, and crit auras rarely finish their duration. Layer Fear from Circe and the +52% Crit DMG window plus status bonus damage turn those same stripped targets into a real damage phase. Drop Fear and she is still annoying in arena, but the personal DPS falls back toward the B PVE reading: AoE Wizard with a good utility button. Brawl's C follows from short rounds where buffs barely matter and the Fear setup steals time she does not have.

Build her for PVP first. Card investment leads; then push Transcend to Transcend 5 so Magecraft and Awakening finish scaling. In PVE she is a competent AoE Wizard who happens to strip: fine at B, not a reason to rearrange a Fear-less clear team. Pair Fear, keep her above the 10% HP floor, and the same kit that looks average in story becomes the reason enemy supports stop working in arena.
